Steampunk Machines

Do you like everything vintage and steampunk? Would you like to create a one-of-a-kind, fun and inspiring collage? This is a perfect class for you!
Together, we will explore the exciting world of textures, metallic flakes, various embellishments and coats of paints, waxes and art mediums!
Step by step, we will work on all the layers and textures to build our collage: starting with a humble wooden panel, we will work layer-by-layer to create eye-catching, grungy layers and finally construct a composition resembling a fantastic steampunk machine. Using an exciting range of embellishments in combination with popular Finnabair art mediums, we will work on the balance of the shiny, antiqued and matte elements and create a striking, dimensional look.
This class is perfect for trying products from my Art Basics and Art Alchemy lines, including gesso, gels, Liquid Acrylics and Metallique Waxes. All that means is you are getting a lot of creative freedom combined with helpful tips and inspirational techniques that you can apply to many future projects!
All the elements, paints and mediums are provided – this project is suitable both for advanced and beginning students.
